Friday morning we took the ferry from Ventura harbor to Santa Cruz island, and walked a short distance to Scorpion Ranch campground. Within 5 minutes we saw a fox sneak off with a full bag of marshmallows. In the afternoon we rented wetsuits and went snorkeling, and saw tons of fish, a few stingrays, and a sea lion. On Saturday we hiked up to Montañon ridge and down past Potato Harbor. We also joined the ranger-led sunset hike to Cavern Point. On Sunday we headed out and some dolphins joined our ferry.
