ONION VALLEY CAMPGROUND

For my birthday weekend we drove up to Independence and up into the mountains to Onion Valley campground. We camped at 9,200 feet and hiked around to some alpine lakes above 10,000.

Camping tip: don't leave your cooler on the sidewalk at home.
